Cullen Jenkins

Cullen Jenkins is back in business and ready to go this next season, after missing 12 games from a torn pectoral muscle last season. The injury required Jenkins to have surgery and placed him on the injured reserve list. This 2010-11 Green Bay Packers season will be Cullen Jenkins sixth NFL year and he hopes to keep the nagging injuries to a bare minimum. Jenkins is known on the Packers team for his steady defense skills with versatility and adaptability unparalleled on the team.

Before joining the Packers football team, Cullen Jenkins attended, and played football at, Central Michigan where he majored in elementary education. When not playing football with Green Bay, Jenkins is with his family or cheering on his brother at a N.Y. Jets football game. Jenkins is also heavily committed to his community and regularly participates in events, such as the Brett Favre Celebrity Softball game or the Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon.

Chad Clifton

Chad Clifton, an offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers, has been with the team for almost eleven seasons! Originally drafted in the 2000 NFL Draft out off his University of Tennessee football team, Chad Clifton never expected to have as much success as he has had with the Packers.

As a rookie, he took over the starting left tackle position and quickly became one of the NFL’s best blindside blockers. Besides a few injuries along the way, Clifton has continued to produce results on the Green Bay Packers football team.

When he isn’t playing football, Clifton is hanging out with his wife and two kids as well getting involved in the community as much as he can. Chad Clifton has partaken in numerous charities, including Backfield in Motion for the academic improvement of inner-city youth and the annual Packers Women’s Association Food Drive.

The Green Bay Packers have recently signed Chad Clifton onto their team for another three years. We are happy to have you Chad!

Fresh to the team: Stanley Daniels

With a run of football players in his family, such as his uncle who played 13 years in the NFL, Stanley Daniels was meant to play the game. Since he was a kid, Stanley Daniels has been an outstanding guard.

As a Washington Huskies football player, Stanley Daniels captured the attention of his team and competition alike. Daniels earned Las Vegas Sun “Super 11” honorable mention, was a member of the Tacoma News-Tribune’s “Western 100,” as well as the CIF-San Diego Section first-team defensive honors.

Post-college, Stanley Daniels was signed on by the St. Louis Rams in 2007, followed by the New York Jets and eventually the Green Bay Packers in 2009. The Green Bay Packers are hopeful of Stanley Daniels’ future performance and I look forward to watching him prove himself. Go Packers!

Clay Matthews - 3rd generation NFLer

Clay Matthews, a California native, has been playing football since he was a kid. Matthews left his Agoura High School with an All-CIF first-team honors and a four-year letter under his belt. With a father who played in the NFL for 19 seasons, a grandfather who played with the 49ers and a few other family members in the football circle, football is in Clay Matthew’s blood.

After high school, Matthews joined on with the Southern California football team. Clay Matthews only sat out one game in his entire college football career, which was the first game of his first regular season. Over his four years at USC, Clay earned multiple awards, served as a key special-teams contributor and won USC’s Co-Special Teams Player of the Year Award three times. Clay also played in four straight Rose Bowls and the 2009 Senior Bowl.

Clay is well known for his skill and versatility on the football field. Upon graduation, a few NFL teams fought for the right to sign Clay Matthews with the Green Bay Packers coming out on top. Matthews became the first linebacker ever picked from USC by the Packers in the first round draft. When Matthews debuted with the Packers, his family became the second with three generations of NFL players. Don’t miss out on a Green Bay Packers game!

Brady Poppinga changing lives and making strides

Brady Poppinga has been with the Green Bay Packers since 2005. Two years into his time with the Packers, Poppinga was awarded the 2007 winner of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his contributions to humanitarianism and for his performance with the Packers.

With a huge dedication to charities and organizations directed to improve the community, such as Boy Scouts of America and church activities, Brady Poppinga is a man to look up to. Poppinga has also hosted a football camp for children in his home state of Wyoming as a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital. Brady Poppinga’s list of contributions is quite extensive, and even longer than his list of achievements on the football field.

After graduating Brigham Young College and being drafted by the Packers, dominated the field with skill and speed. Poppinga is no where near finished with his attempts to improve the community and to improve his football skills. D.J. Clark excited to get started

D.J. Clark is a brand new addition to the Green Bay Packers football team. As an Idaho State alum, D.J. was also part of his college football team where he led them to many victories over his four years.

During his time at Idaho, Clark made the 2008 All-Big Sky Conference Second Team which he was voted for by nine Big Sky Conference coaches. In his last year for the Idaho State football team, eight NFL reps were sent out to his university to watch six teammates of Clark for the Idaho State University pro day.

D.J. Clark was not expecting to be a lead on pro day, but made the biggest impression on the NFL reps. In 2009, D.J. Clark signed on with the Packers’ practice squad, started 45 games and led the team in interceptions. It didn’t take long before the Green Bay Packers signed D.J. Clark onto the regular season roster.

Clark is ready to go this season, so don’t miss a game or you may miss an experience of a lifetime.

DeShawn Wynn is ready to go

DeShawn Wynn is a 26 year old from Cincinnati, Ohio who has worked his way up the ranks to become a running back for the Green Bay Packers. Wynn was signed on by the Packers right out off his Florida college football team in the 2007 NFL Draft. At Florida, DeShawn Wynn spent the majority of his four years as the starting tailback, finishing his career with a 2007 BCS National Championship under his belt.

After being drafted by the Green Bay Packers, DeShawn Wynn scored his first two career touchdowns within his second week in the NFL. Unfortunately, later in the season Wynn injured his shoulder and was put on the injured reserve for the rest of the season. Wynn would be later released and re-signed by the Packers practice squad where he remained only a month.

DeShawn Wynn knows he does not belong on the practice squad and is determined to prove that to his team this season. Don’t miss a Green Bay Packers game this year, because Wynn and the rest of the Packer players are bringing everything they’ve got.

Mason Crosby

Mason Crosby is a placekicker for the Green Bay Packers who has made great strides in his first two years on the team. Crosby has posted more points than any NFL player in history during their first two seasons on a team, and continues to improve. Although Mason Crosby was drafted in 2007, he has already been named to the All-Decade team for the first nine years of the 2000s by The Sporting News. This feat makes Crosby the best collegiate kicker of the decade.

As a University of Colorado football player, Mason Crosby was considered the best kicker and named one of the Top 5 Seniors by position in 2006. Crosby was also selected as a First Team All-American for the 2005 NCAA Division I-A football season. Mason was Colorado’s all-time leading scorer by over fifty points, which made him the first Big 12 Conference player in history to be named player of the week eight times.

Mason Crosby was the 19^th pick of the sixth round in the 2007 NFL Draft, where he was plucked by the Green Bay Packers. Crosby blew away the Packers in his first pre-season game when he kicked a 52-yard field goal. This was the longest field goal in the history of Heinz Field so he definitely made an impression. Crosby has been going strong with Green Bay ever since, and was even voted the Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week finishing the season with the highest-scoring in kicker franchise history.

Atari Bigby

Atari Bigby was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. Before Bigby signed on as a safety for the Green Bay Packers, he played for the University of Central Florida, as a member of the New York Jets and as an undrafted free agent for the Miami Dolphins in 2005. Atari has played at every position on the field during his years as a high school football player, where he had the privilege of playing with future NFLers as well. Bigby was an all star player across the board, earning second-team Class 6A all-state honors and the opportunity to play in the Dade-Broward All-Star Game.

Bigby signed on with the Miami Dolphins in the 2005 NFL Draft as an undrafted free agent before being traded to the New York Jets. The Jets signed Atari Bigby on August 11, 2005 only to be waived in the final cuts a month later. The Green Bay Packers snatched up Bigby a few months later, and promoted him almost immediately to the active roster. Atari Bigby finally made his NFL debut on Christmas Day against the Chicago Bears.

At the end of the 2006 preseason, Atari was waived by Green Bay only to sign two days later to their practice squad. Once again, Bigby was signed to the active roster after a ten week period. Atari Bigby finally proved himself worthy during the 2007 training camp and preseason, replacing the strong safety at the time. Atari Bigby has been going strong with the Packers ever since and was offered over $1.5 million to return to Green Bay for the next season. In three days we’ll see if Atari Bigby decides to take the offer or signs on with another team.
