C.J. Wilson a Possible Replacement for Cullen Jenkins

I already talked about in an earlier post about how big of a bum Cullen Jenkins is. Jenkins signed with the Philadelphia Eagles this past offseason and is one of my least favorite Packers of all time. There were extremely high expectations of him because of his immense talent but he never fully fulfilled them because he is lazy. Luckily for the Packers, I think C.J. Wilson would be an adequate replacement for Jenkins and he has all the ability to be special in this league. Note to C.J., take advantage of this situation and run with it. Get that starting job!

Cullen Jenkins is Now an Eagle

Look at this picture of Cullen Jenkins. He looks like such a lost idiot. As Walter from the Big Lebowski would say "You're like a child, wondering into a movie..."

Is anyone else super pumped that Cullen Jenkins is now a Philadelphia Eagle? I know I am. Good riddance Cullen. He was a guy who didn't give it his all on each play and was a pretty lousy player in general. He had trouble shedding his blockers last season and he lacks the burst and speed off the edge to have a huge impact. I mean we have Ryan Pickett, B.J. Raji, and Clay Matthews. As if we need Cullen Jenkins....

News Flash Cullen: You look like shit in a Eagles uniform and I hope they don't win the Super Bowl this season.

Twilight and Cullen Jenkins

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you know that Twilight mania has swept a certain subsection of the U.S. population.

Book releases, movie opening nights, and T-shirts stating "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob" are inescapable. Rumors about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison swirl constantly and Taylor Lautner is on the cover of a gazillion magazines each year.

Vampires
So, what does this all have to do with Green Bay Packers defensive end Cullen Jenkins?

It's all in his name.

According to recent data compiled from Social Security card applications and registered birth certificates, the name "Cullen" has spiked more than any other boy name in the year 2009. .026% of all baby boys are named Cullen and it ranks #485 on the list.

Though this may not seem like much, it is certainly more than when Cullen Jenkins was born. At that point, the name barely registered.

But due to the widespread fame of the Twilight story and its vampire named Edward Cullen, the name has spiked; experts specifically point to that vampire's surname to explain this effect.

I refute these claims.

Instead, perhaps it's super Green Bay Packers fans spreading across the globe who dub their little baby boys Cullen in honor of the smooth playing style of number 77.

Cullen Jenkins
I like that better.

Cullen Jenkins

Cullen Jenkins is back in business and ready to go this next season, after missing 12 games from a torn pectoral muscle last season. The injury required Jenkins to have surgery and placed him on the injured reserve list. This 2010-11 Green Bay Packers season will be Cullen Jenkins sixth NFL year and he hopes to keep the nagging injuries to a bare minimum. Jenkins is known on the Packers team for his steady defense skills with versatility and adaptability unparalleled on the team.

Before joining the Packers football team, Cullen Jenkins attended, and played football at, Central Michigan where he majored in elementary education. When not playing football with Green Bay, Jenkins is with his family or cheering on his brother at a N.Y. Jets football game. Jenkins is also heavily committed to his community and regularly participates in events, such as the Brett Favre Celebrity Softball game or the Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon.
